This song is about the character Tetsuo from the movie Akira. i wanted to do a song about hm not only because i really love that movie, but i think tetsuo was really misunderstood as a villain, he never really wanted to do all the horrible stuff he did; he was just trying to get away from everyone and all the bullshit he had in his life. granted, yes, he was an asshole, but was it really his fault? before he gets the telekinetic powers, he was already being typecast as a good for nothing that would amount to nothing, and as soon as he DOES get the powers, he is probed and analyzed by scientists who treat him like a subject, not a person.
